Derbyshire Dales Ramblers
We are a local group of the Ramblers and are based in the Derbyshire Dales, an area of outstanding beauty in the White Peak district of Derbyshire. We are a sociable, friendly group who like to walk together and, as part of our passion for the countryside, we monitor the wealth of footpaths in our region so all can walk safely. We offer a full programme of guided walks, a magazine and regular opportunites to meet up together.
Come on a walk with us
You can try out a group walk with us even if you are not a Ramblers member yet; we welcome visitors from other walking groups and those who are new to walking. We offer guided walks on 5 days of the week ranging from 4 miles to 12+ miles. Go to the Walks page for information on the different walks, what to expect, what to wear and much more.
Ramblers is a nation-wide charity
The Ramblers is a charity dedicated to protecting footpaths, defending the beauty of the countryside and promoting walking for all. If you join Ramblers you will be supporting all these aims and by taking part in your local group activities you will be making friends and keeping fit. To join Derbyshire Dales Ramblers, you first become a member of the Ramblers and then nominate us as your local group. You will then automatically receive all our walk programmes, magazines and information updates.
