The Delights of the Derbyshire Dales Yahoo Group

Could I draw the attention of members with Internet access to the group's own site; where views can be expressed, opinions exchanged, and news passed on. It is called the Yahoo Group and currently has 31 members, some who enjoy commenting on most subjects and some who are happy to just read it.

It was created by Charles Wildgoose to enable members to keep in touch, and the latest innovation is to arrange car sharing between people going on the same walk.

Recent postings have included dangerous cows and dogs, the Local Transport Plan, signposts, map reading for women, and Stanton quarries. There are also 5 databases - including a list of 113 embossed metal signposts, path diversions, County Council Audit Commission, and access links. There is also an interesting picture gallery submitted by members.
