Chapel Gate
The Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) on Chapel Gate has been agreed and this is now in place and will last for 18 months from 31st August 2010. A large number of comments in support of this were submitted, many of these were from local ramblers. Comments in support of the Order being established on a permanent basis need to be made within 6 months of the start of the order i.e. before the end of February 2012; they should be made in writing to Mike Rhodes, Access and Rights of Way Manager, at The Peak District National Park Authority, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire DE45 1AE or by e-mail to mike.rhodes@peakdistrict.gov.uk.
If you sent in a comment about the Experimental TRO it is important to follow that up supporting the idea that it is made permanent and even if you did not and you care about the area please take the time to send in your views. Full details can be found on: www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/chapelgate
