Brassington footpaths

This page shows the past and present problems on footpaths around Brassington. Enid Brunt of Wensum Group [Norfolk] is pictured after declaring the bridge at the junction of Brassington Footpaths 18 and 22 'open'. The 'ceremony' was part of a walk led by Derbyshire Dales Group highlighting how some of the local paths have been improved whilst at the same time pointing out that some improvements are still needed. The bridge was built using a contribution of £500 from the Derbyshire Dales Group of the Ramblers together with a donation in memory of a walker whose family do not wish to be named.
